Shinedown is an American rock band with frontman Brent smith.
There songs mix in heavy and light rock, but not as heavy as Metal and not as light as Soft Rock. There probably most known for the song "Second Chance". Others know them for their cover of "Simple Man", a song originally by Lynyrd Skynyrd. "45" was also a notable song that came out when they were popular.
